co-produced a 15-minute film, Petty's Island: The Untold
Story, with technical assistance from a
Philadelphia nonprofit group, Scribe Video Center and the film was
narrated by Danny Glover. The film says the island was, among other
things, an early settlement for Native Americans and a slave-trade
depot in the 17th century and argues it needs to be preserved as
